Numbering/Perf/Score Systems

The CP375 DUO Touchline offers an efficient creasing and perforating solution ideal for mid to high volume runs. Equipped with two creasing tools (male/ female) and a cross perforating tool, the CP375 DUO performs up to 20 creases and 20 perforations simultaneously in a single run. An optional strike perforating tool can be added for increased versatility.

The innovative creasing and perforating system features an interchangeable toolbar system with two slots where users can easily mix and match the tools to create a multitude of applications. The creasing and perforating tools may be used in either slot which are electronically detected and the relevant pressure is automatically adjusted. The male and female creasing tools can be combined to perform up and down creasing, perfect for finishing covers for perfect bound books. The cross perforating tool and the optional strike perforating tool  can also be combined to perform cross perforations.

Processing up to 6,000 sheets per hour, the CP375 DUO performs up and down creasing up to 20 creases per sheet as well as perforations in both directions. The CP375 DUO comes included with ultrasonic double sheet detection sensor, negative and positive creasing tools, two perforation heads, and one cross perforation tool.
With the addition of the new TF unit, the CP375 DUOTF can also perform folds in-line and in one pass, processing more complex jobs at high speeds!

The FD 95 Rotary Perforator/Creaser is specially designed to finish printed sheets, up to 13.8” x 19”. Its three-tire friction feeding system reliably feeds up to 7,080 sheets per hour, and can create up to 5 parallel perforations and/or creases in a single pass. Perforating allows for easy separation of multiple printouts, tear-offs, postcards or tickets on a single sheet, while creasing allows for easy folding and reduces unsightly cracking in digital printouts.

Sheets are fed and perforated and/or creased automatically then stacked neatly on the telescoping outfeed table. Users can set the variable speed control based on paper weight, while the resettable counter keeps an accurate tally of processed sheets. The FD 95 can easily accommodate paper weights from 55 - 180gsm.

Standard set-up includes two perforating wheels, one creasing wheel and paper guides. Options include additional perforating sets, microperforating sets (17 tpi), creasing sets and guide strips to accommodate 55 - 60gsm paper.

The FD 95 is ideal for small print shops, on-demand and in-plant finishing applications including postcards, invitations, tear-offs, brochures, billing statements and more.

The BAUM 20 VFM Versatile Finishing Modules adapt to both BAUM and other manufacturer’s products. The first station uses same proven pile feeder that is used on BAUM 20 Pile Feed Folders and carries a 3-year BAUM parts warranty.

A FINISHING SOLUTION

Here is a Baumfolder solution providing a Versatile Finishing Module, tailored to your applications. A high speed rotary scoring/slitting/perforating machine, the VFM utilizes a BAUM 20 Pile Feeder and register, connected to a new scoring module that contains 3 sets of heavy duty shafts. This solution accommodates a variety of tooling and enables multiple lines of scoring, perforating, and/or slitting in a single pass.

Do you need to score, slit, or perforate at 90 degrees? A 2nd station VFM is available with the same scoring module, but with a cross-carrier to register the job from the first section. This allows for job completion without reloading.
